Another cheap, effective mod.

Ok, I level/lowered the rear. I removed the wiper. I added my "too cool for common words, Socal HHR Outlaw Sticker". I have factory molded mud guards. I have a Socal HHR Beauty bar w/ white bowtie ( ordered the black overlays w/chevrolet cutout script ).

I am looking at the rear view of my Summit White, admiring the stance and overall look. Checking out the cool glint of the chrome exhaust tip and I noticed something out of place.....

The "turtle" muffler, being a raw steel color just brings the whole rear appearance down. So, I bought a can of black BBQ paint ( I assume any high heat paint would work ) and did a couple coats, mainly on the areas that are visible. Then I followed that with a coat of gloss black.

What a huge difference!. It blends in much better and with the white, it makes the exhaust tip pop better. Give it a try.

Yes D, I know. The crafty part of me wants to say, " This is just a teaser, pics to follow" The honest part says " I am at work and dont have my camera. Will take and post em when I get home "
