I asked for molding tape. There are a few brands available.

I like the chrome strip on the front a lot. I agree it's good on the dark silver color. My woody can look glommed up easily, with so much woody, so I'm being careful with what I add that isn't blue. I did order the Chevrolet emblems, but mine are from 1949. I put them off the hood, slid back on the door, because someday I'm going to do some custom paint on the hood. You can see the location in my gallery.

Auto store. Usually with the paint and body supplies.

then you just apply it to the emblem and trim the excess from it?

Yes, after cutting/grinding off any prongs that exist for putting them on a '55.
It took me around an hour to prep each one. It was worth it!

Love the look. I haven't added any chrome trim yet and want to do the wheel wells first.
Where did you get the trim? Does it slip over both sides of the wheel well?
Does it have tape?
Sorry for all the questions, did you do it yourself? Any tips?

I got my trim from Pep Boys. The Tape you can get at WalMart or any automotive parts store. The Chevrolet Script from Danchuck.
