i am thinking of filling in the top half of the upper grill to make it look like the hood continues to the crossbar. i also want to eliminate the bowtie emblem. can someone with photoshop skills try this mod so i can see if it really looks good or not.

easy guys, to each their own. he simply wants to see how it would look. i'm sure we've all had our fair share of ideas that looked/sounded great in our heads, and realized otherwise once we saw it. IMO it doesn't look THAT bad (i wouldn't do it personally) but it seems like airflow to the radiator and AC condensor might be adversely affected.

 

I agree with chadpuska. Lose the center bar and have it all mesh. That would look sick

yeah guys, i'm not sure i like it either. it was just an idea i had. i will be buying the grill frame to remove the bowtie from the cross bar and maybe for a custom aluminum mesh grill.

i haven't seen the ss panel concept's open grill. i will have to check it out. thanks TkHHR for the PS work.

 

Hope it don't effect the cooling of the engine in the hot weather.

 

Another vote for wide open. The mesh (in silver) can be had at the local Home Depot.
