I'm actually surprised that Wilmore never came out with fender guards like they did with the rocker covers and nerf bars. Seems like they could make a mint by introducing a set of lower rocker/door guards.

Maybe I'll have to discuss this with my friend in KC who owns a metal fab company. I can ride this sandblasting paranoia like Seabiscuit into the land of gold chains, jet skis, and a harem of supermodels!

Go for it. You have a market but they might demand them for free once rock chips show.

You are lucky to get away with only paying 425...as stated before 3 dealers have each quoted me almost 1100 dollars to paint and install boards...unbelievable

In my opinion this is exactly what should be done! They are fixing the problem and giving you the boards at a cost similar to what it would have been had you purchased them with your HHR! for your dealer and GM for doing right!

Now it sounds like your trying to get something for nothing.
As Hills stated, that is the most fair for all.

On May 9, 2007, the warm place at the center of the Earth, otherwise known as Hell, experienced a temporary drop in ambient temperature below the freezing level of 32 degrees Fahrenheit, or 0 degrees Celsius. This happened at the exact same time that "hhrcrafty" actually agreed for the first time with what "HillsdaleHHR" posted on the ChevyHHR.net forum.

Some locations near the Marianas Islands experienced devastating tsunami, and it is rumored that a Democratic coup has been unleashed upon the streets of Havana.

Stay tuned for more information.
