I have purchased a spoiler from "spoiler and wing king" There is a thread showing installation pictures. That fellow installed it 1/2 inch from the top and sides. Does anybody know what sizes the factory used? Also the installer drilled his holes slightly off when viewed from the underside. I wonder why he did not drill the factory cut out holes from the bottom, correctly spaced in the hole openings as provided by the factory. I would like mine to be correctly spaced as done at the factory. Any comments would be appreciated. Ed

 

Hi. The spoiler installation post is an excellent reference for doing your own install. I also purchased from the same vendor. Great product at a great price. As long as you leave enough clearance for the hatch to open (the 1/2 inch minimum down from the top), you'll be eying, measuring and remeasuring to guarantee you're centered and straight. There's no other way as I've not seen a real template with measurements to use. It did take me and a frend a little longer than I expected to get it perfect before drlling, but we did nail it. You'll be very happy when finish, just take your time.
