Well, if it's just the Premiere edition's headlights that are different, people could order a set of those to modify. I was going to order a second set to modify that way I could still drive while changing them, so I'll wait to see if there are any differences.

After searching around, it does look like the Premiere edition has silver around the bulb instead of amber. I searched ebay but didn't see any. So now my question is where can I get them and how much are they?

You are right the regular LS and LT headlights have an amber disk in front of the bulb as well as an amber bulb too. I had time to snap some pics earlier, but didn't have time to host them up, I will have them on here by tomorrow.

This is not a great pic but it definitely looks like a silver background with an amber bulb, not an amber background.

its not to bad getting inside the headlight, the harderst part is getting them off the car i think you have to remove the whole front bumper. Once you get them off the car you out them in a oven on like 225 F bake them for like 15 to 20 min then cut the seal and pull apart. im not sure but it looks like you can remove the amber piece, it looks as though it just sits on the chrome. the only part that makes me worry is sealing them back up cuz almost everytime i have seen someone do this they get moisture in the headlight. yes only the Premiers have just chrome im not sure about the SS i know the assemblys are mass expensive, i have been trying to find a set on ebay for cheap to try this mod and paint the chrome black.
