Nope, not at all. The only rattling is from the tailgate, but only when I really have it cranked up or something really bass heavy comes on. Had I know I was going to put a sub in, I would have put some sound deadening in when I did the backup camera.

The rattling is likely from the license plate frame. I put self-stick weatherstripping behind my frame and no more rattle when I close the back gate.

You're probably right - I'll just put one of the little foam rubber squares I always have laying around the garage. But it does show that the sub does kick decently for its size and where it's located.

Just curious, since I'm going to install a backup camera: where would you have put the sound deadening?

Here's a picture of how I mounted my camera. With the black license plate frame it's practically invisible. It would have been good had I placed a little sound deadener on the other side of this panel. Be careful when you take the trim off so that you don't accidentally break off the rear defogger connectors.
