head spinning about bluetooth and onstar

I have been reading and still don't know which way to go. I have a 2011 LS with no steering wheel radio controls and no bluetooth. I will not be keeping onstar and want to end up with controls on the steering wheel and have bluetooth in place. What do I need to do?

Thanks

I don't know much about blue tooth but here is some reading about steering wheel controls. remeber when ordering the bezel for you steering wheel switch you have to pick the correct color. https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/show...wheel+controls

The steering wheel controls are very easy and after ordering them it takes a few minutes to an hour to install.

I am currently looking into the bluetooth upgrade and have ordered part number 20837492 and will have it next week. If all goes well and the weather is not too cold (working in the cold with plastic and metal is no fun) I will install it next week.

It is actually the cadallac STS onstar/bluetooth module but it is supposed to work with the HHR as it is the replacement part for the old 2009 HHR module according to my research. That research may be flawed so I hope I do not get burned! LOL

I got the module for a really good price and I think I can sell it without losing too much if it does not work. So we shall see!

Works great so far I got module part number 20837492 and so far the bluetooth is working like a champ. I have not gotten the onstar tested or updated to the vehicle at the dealership though.
