FM gets one channel nothing else comes is AM works, CD works

 

Welcome to the site, perhaps the antenna is damaged or the radio itself is not functioning.

 

Is the front antenna in place?

Could be the antenna's amplifier.

 

Is this a new thing? Did it start after a new radio was installed? You got to give us something other than "it doesn't work".

 

The FM gets one channel, indicative of antenna problem

Don't understand how the FM only has one channel if the antenna is bad.
I would think AM would have a reception problem more than FM if the antenna had a problem.

Please explain.

 

FM will pick up closest signal, if the antenna ground or amp power wire is corroded .
AM is a stronger signal.
My antenna was damaged and water got into it, I replaced the screw in antenna mast and the fixed my problem I could get one local FM station with the damaged antenna.


Part number 1 was my issue , the connector above the headliner in cable part #7 could be the problem Or the connector at part # 6
