Well, until I decide to put in the avic-d3, I would like what I paid for to work.

Check the stereo fuses. The one for the amp may be blown.

I didn't think of that. It did occur to me it might be loose or something. I wonder where the fuses in the car are.

The fuse for the amp is on the interior panel, located in the passenger footwell on the side of the console. Look up the number in the owner's manual.

Do you regret not getting the Z2 instead? Do you have any of the add-on's like for bluetooth and xm. Also, do you have any aftermarket boxes for on-star to still work and your steering wheel buttons?
