Tweeter Mounting Question

I installed a set of Boston Acoustic speakers in my driver and passenger side doors this evening. The install went fairly well until it was time to mount the tweeters. I'm mounting them just forward of the door handles. I was going to mount them with white 3M trim tape, so I didn't have to drill more holes in the door panel. Anyway, I wiped the area down with alcohol to try to get the armor-all off, but then silly things still won't stick! Any ideas?
