I'm 40 my parents are in there 60s...last few years I've been having to assist them with a few things in there life that confuse them like filing out paperwork and reading contractual things,etc.. on that paperwork I see the words elderly or of retirement age so I guess I picked up on the lingo. No offense meant

(I am suddenly taking offense at "elderly", I guess because I am almost 70 and the wife is 80)

Was I incorrect in my statement? Maybe not the proper terminology? They were pioneer speakers I bought on crutchfield and installed in my car. I assumed since I bought them in the after market and not factory installed that I was wording it correctly

Not offended, joking. I didn't understand that you had installed the Pioneer speakers; was that before or after they stopped working.

If you did state this stuff before, I did not see it on account of the wall o' words you were throwing up. Double spacing does wonders for us old folk.

I had the problem from day 1 and all speakers were stock, base model 6 speakers. I began like most reading info on here and replacing hoping to fix the issue. Replaced the speakers first. problem persisted, then I changed out to a new head unit...still the same poor symptoms. But it seems fixed for now...

One of those wires is either broken in the insulation sleeve or loose in the connector to the adapter, moving and securing them wiggled it enough to fix that issue, crank it up.
