i have the same issue BUT we have had alot of rain lately and the issue went away where is the sensor located and why would you have to change the wheel bearing if the sensor is is external of the bearing

It's not a long thread, the answer to your question is in there. If the responses here don't get your problem fixed, you should start a new thread. Rarely are these type of things exactly the same. Circumstances, the old car in this thread has lived a different life than your old car.

The sensor is located inside the hub, the connector is outside the hub.

If the ABS light is on a good OBD2 reader can narrow it down to which hub and which electrical problem was sensed.

Your problem could simply be the connection at one or more of your HHR's hubs could be loose or corroded, check those four connections.
