So its been a little bit. The ss springs are in, fe5 front/rear shocks are in, new boots, mounts etc. also new sway bar links, new front wheel hubs...

ride is stiff i will say that! STIFF!!!! it has green polyurethane boots on it since the old boot were no good and i had these laying around.

now theyve been on a while, i noticed a small drop all the way around but now, like today when i turn at slow speeds i hear a clunk/bind noise at the front. if i put wheel straight and rock car, no noise, but if turning i get noise.... what should i look at?

also is it possible for a shock to blow this quick? i noticed i can hear one of the shocks making a compression sound with certain bumps.. or is that normal for the fe5 set up?

The fe5 are gas shocks, they may make a bit more of a "hiss" noise under heavy compression than pure oil shocks.
The front springs may be binding on rotation. Did you use the same strut bearings? (little white rings at top of springs) and re-lube them?

Give some time to settle in and it will lose some of the stiffness.... you may not notice it as it happens gradually

i know the binding sound and hissing sound both show up at low speed turning coming from same side/area. wondering now if a part i put on new was bad. good thing it was moog with a replacement plan if it is bad. just sucks taking all of that off n on, lol.

had another question about suspension but dont wanna start another thread... i think my front sway bar bushings are bad, i read its a knuckle buster job but can be done at home on stands w/ tire off. well if im taking them off is there an upgraded bar we can use for the front, might as well look at doing it both at same time. have on 07 ls

I like the feel..which is one of the main reasons for lowering..feeling of seriousness in the handling dept. Soft is for grandmas caddy!
Weight on wheels so to say..if the car is floating then the suspension is fighting to keep it down and the weight is off the wheels..if the car is tight then the suspension is holding the car up, which is preferable..and keeps the tires on the road.

No i used the one it came with the new kit, i did still hear it.. so i looked, driver side spring looks like its binding as turning, while passenger side is not. driver side is also where I get the HISS from... so its that bushing?

secondly im not ordering the rest of the suspension crap i need to get this car ready for alignment.. The rear hubs and front lower control arms. Even with fe5 suspension yall said use the LS lower CA. Ok, there is an option for FE1 and FE3 which should i go with?

is there any better options I should watch for with the lower control arms? cast iron vs. aluminum vs? thanks guys, hopefully quick reply on this one.
