Poly bushings are 1 inch ID the bar is 25 mm which leaves a little slop , which results in the clunk.

I got the 23mm ones with a zerk and they were just a tad snug. Just squeak a little at 40F or under. Probably need another pump of grease.

I slathered in a white lithium grease and two pumps of grease every oil change .
the room allowed enough force to destroy the red polyurethane
