Swaybar Question

So today I had to cut out the front swaybar links to replace them, and in the process I scored the drivers side of the front swaybar. If I want to replace it eventually my question is whether or not a Cobalt swaybar will fit in an HHR.

Should bolt right up, most aftermarket sway bars have the same part number for the HHR/Cobalt/G-5.

You would have to go pretty deep into the 1 inch bar to cause an issue.

For those who might see this thread whilst planning the end link job, there is a shoulder on the inner end of the tip that you can grip with a vice grip and sometimes a wrench. It is hard to find, but it is there.

All I did was score the bottom attach point for the link, on the bar itself. The flat section with the hole through it. Not to worried though as the hole it still the original thickness. And new sways fro the wrecker are really cheap!
