I remember reading on the Cobalt forums, some were snapping axle shafts when they upgraded their LSJs.

no, i have no vss, abs, or esc. Dont really need any of that stuff anyways. I use gps for speed and it doesnt bother me not having esc or abs

i suspect that might have been a driver mod issue. Full send while wheel hopping. I might use a vue intermediate shaft and get dss to make me a custom passenger side axle. Id rather run base model axles than dss though

How do I remove manual pedal setup??

yes I realize thread os old but if theres a chance to get an answer l try it. Currently doing a auto to manual swap . The dash is completely out but can't figure out how to remove pedal assembly. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Please read and look at the photos in post #1 , as you’ll see he does say he removed the dashboard and the drivetrain to remove the pedal assembly. You can also send a PM to the OP and ask questions.

You don't need to do all of that to remove the pedals; You do need to do it to remove the plate they are mounted on to replace it with the one that has a spot for the clutch pedal.

Yes it sure does help thank you for posting the picture of clutch pedal assy.. And the plate that it mounts to that's where I was getting lost at. Thanks again for quick response now to cancel my weekend plans and get this thing done
