Angry Heat Issues

I purchased my HHR in July. Air was working fine, but no heat. Was told the dash board had to be torn up to find issue. Anyone with this problem? How much cost involved?

I'm assuming that your engine is heating up properly and your coolant level is correct. You may have a temp door problem. There are electric motors that move the temp door and the mode door that may not be working. When you change you settings from hot to cold and defrost to floor dose it seem to be changing anything.

Welcome.
The "dashboard" does not get torn up, you do need to remove a lot of the side panels of the "waterfall" and be a bit of a contortionist.
