No, like I said, I found all this on cobaltss forum. If I had the shop manual, I would not be asking for help.

[QUOTE=RJ_RS_SS_350;766011]Just got the engine mount and the STOP trans mounts. Hoping to install on Monday or Tuesday. I found these torque specs over at cobaltss. Are all these specs correct for HHR? Do I need to mess with frame-to-body bolts and Input Shaft Bearing Retainer Bolts?

I looked at the list of torque specs in the repair manual. It seems your list that you posted was just someones copy/paste from the manual.
The input shaft retainer bolts specs just happened to be "alphabeticallly" in that spot. Those aren't bolts you'll need to mess with.

I haven't done STOP mounts, so can't really give advice there.

Thanks George, that's very helpful. I hadn't intended on doing the STOP mounts, either, but their website wouldn't let me order the engine mount alone. I figured what the heck, may as well do the STOP as well. Thanks again

Wouldn't let you order the front mount alone ??? I think there must be a mistake somewhere.
I got the front mount alone from TTR and I recall many others on this site that have gotten the front mount by itself.

When I tried to order, it said 'transmission upgrade is required'. Now i see an option for 'none', that allows the mount alone to go in the shopping cart. Either it wasn't there before, or I just didn't see it before. Either way, 'none' should be the default. But I don't regret getting the STOP mounts. Just waiting for some good weather so I can install these.

Finally got the engine mount and the STOP mounts in. What a difference!! Feels much more powerful, torque steer is gone, and I'm not feeling any vibrations at all. Engine/exhaust is noticeably louder, is that to be expected?

Aaron, you may want to revise the instructions, specifically, for the STOP mounts, a shallow 18mm socket is needed, for the engine mount, a deepwell 18mm socket is needed. Thanks, satisfied customer!

Will get that over to the guy who updates the manuals.

Also most likely louder as the engine/drivetrains is more connected to the frame, and you hear the exhaust a bit more.

Thanks for the awesome review!

After 15,000 miles, motor mount still functioning as advertised, but powder coating flaking off.
