Well having finally gotten mine which is more or less a 1LT (1SA in Canada) with the 2.4, 5 speed, I'd say if as a driver you prefer a standard, go with this combo if you can find it. I have driven both auto and standard and I really like the 5 speed...easily as nice or nicer as the shifter in my Mazda Protege 5 was.

Captain you are right, I did get the 2LT package and my dash is two tone!

I can understand your cunfusion Jesse.

I just assumed my Spring Edition was a 2LT since it was a special model.

Both 1LT and 2LT just have LT on the back.

I wish they had done the SE as a 2LT, the sport suspension is really nice compared to the touring. After driving the wife's new one I could tell the difference right away. So could she and she doesn't know.......well there's a sentence I'm better off not finishing!

Who is Pat, and what's this about a manual not having passing gear? has Pat ever driven a manual?

I'm not being an A$$ here, but honestly, I've never heard anyone who knows anything about cars make a statement like that.

All passing gear is in an automatic is a gear kick down, and a manual has more offerings in this department.

My dash is two tone as well, but I have a 1LT.
