Farewell, Dear HHR Friends!
This afternoon I waved goodbye to my 2010 HHR SS - we need to go with something different.
I thank you all VERY sincerely for the many times that you came to my aid so quickly and thoroughly, for the countless hours that you all have helped OTHERS which eventually helped me (by using that nifty little "search" bar!), and for the remarkable forum here that avoids the pee-pee contests and the mine's-bigger-than-yours arguments - it's all about contributing to whoever needs assistance and you are to be commended for maintaining such a constructive culture.
May your MPGs be high, your CELs be seldom and your repairs easy.

Now then, just because your HHR has purred off into the sunset, doesn't mean you can make "bye bye".
You are, and will always be, a part of our family here. So keep in touch OK. (That's an order )
When you're all settled into your new set of wheels, tell us what you bought, share a pic or ten (once we get the Image Hosting software to play nice), and good luck with your new ride!

Thanks guys - I'm sure I'll keep checking in now and then.
Interesting (FWIW) - in searching for a new car I researched the Cadillac wagon (I'm a wagon nerd) with the 3.6(?) liter engine - the one that's direct-injected (might be the 3.0 - I forget) - they're having problems with the deposits on valves also! (and they mentioned that EVERY direct injection engine is having those problems) GM is addressing it - how effectively who knows - but they're all no doubt devising oil catch-cans that our Ingenious Members have already been developing.
