Can someone please explain the steps of testing my fuel pressure for my 2007? And provide a list of the tools I would need please.
Reason I want to test the fuel pressure is because,
Symptoms:
-P0171
-Drop in MPG
-Need to crank a few times for car to start.

You need a fuel pressure guage with the correct fittings to hook to the service port on the fuel rail. YOU MUST RELIEVE PRESSURE FIRST. Should be 50-60 psi.
If you are still in power train warranty 5/100K it's covered by GM.
