Funny noise when turning

Been haveing a CLUNKING sounds when I turn corners, and get a vibration in the strearing wheel. Went to the dealership to mention about it, it seems that the steering boxes were undergreased at the factory. So come Thursday, the HHR goes into the shop to get it done. Dealer said it takes about a half hour.

Good to know. My SS is doing the same thing. Turning corners, but especially when going into a driveway. Funny thing is my 05' Suburban does the same thing. I better get this checked out. Thanks for the info.

I was hearing the same type of sound from Dory. Took her to the dealer and they replaced the intermediate steering shaft. There is a TSB for this issue.
