I am in canada yes, but the car came up from florida. So I don't know if its a canadian feature or not, all I know is on the wheel control, if I hit info and enter, then release either one, the settings come up for h/l delay, auto lock and unlock, horn chirp, delayed lock, etc etc etc

FYI its a 2008 1lt panel, 5spd 2.2l. Any HHR that I have ever worked on has had this feature. When both buttons on the wheel are pressed, release just ONE, and voila! Settings menu!!!

Not disputing the settings menu, just the adjustable light delay. I have light control either on or off. It's not in my Owner Manual either.

You can release both at the same time, BTW. That's in my OM.

I want just the opposite, hate having any lights remain on after shutting down. I always immediately turn the headlites off when shutting the engine off at nite. Keeping lites on when not being charged by the alternator runs the battery down, definitely a conspiracy formulated by battery makers (and other manufacturers I can't think of right now). (Oh, finally figured out that the battery is in back in my '08, been looking for it for years).
