My car smells musty after rain. I can't see where the carpet is wet or where rain is coming in. This just started happening about two weeks ago. Any ideas??

I replaced the cabin air filter and sprayed some lysol in the vent system. We'll see where this goes from here.

My water leak only seems to be there when and after a heavy (or steady) rain of several hrs, but I also have a loud noise from my blower ( grating Or scraping) when ever I turn the blower on. Any
connection?

First off to the forum dboats!

I see from your profile that you're driving an '06 HHR, both the '06 and '07 model years can have a water leak issue caused by a rubber membrane used to seal off part of the cowl below the windshield. Here's a link to a thread on it, and how you can fix it.

These membranes can fail due to age, and if the windshield has ever been replaced in the past, the membranes are very easily damaged during the installation of the new glass.
