. i was playing around with the motor and turned the crank without the chain hooked up. I know this was a bad move but i made sure the valves were clear and turned it very slowly as to not bash the valves. So long story short... (never is).. I need to know how to basically retime the motor as if I did a complete rebuild. Can't find anything on this anywhere. Im pretty sure i'll have to take the cams off. Hope I didnt babble too much. Thanks everyone.
Now if you just turned the crankshaft , then you should remove the camshafts to avoid bending the valves, depending on how far you turned the crankshaft.
Ensure the crankshaft key is at 12:00 and the camshafts are lined up
Intake at 5 o’clock and exhaust at 7 o’clock Like I said key way at 12:00 And the cam phasers marks as you see intake at 2:00 o’clock and exhaust at 10:00 o’clock
crankshaft sprocket mark at 5 o’clock
