Guess that makes you the jock strap

It would be cool to have a national event but a lot of times there is a member that travels to a regional event that is far away. Because they want to come.

If this could be planed now we could indeed plan cruises from the long distance areas and travel there in small groups. I would work with the west coast people to do this. We just need to plan now so we can schedule and for us retired folks save the money. I keep trying to get people to come out to local and regional show with not much luck but would love the idea of attending a National meet with venders and other HHRs. Lets paln and do it.

This year was my third show that I organised with the help of my friend, we do are show in the yard of a dealership, so far we had 70 car per show, that was only J-Body and delta platform.

Here few question that can be send to every people that is register to that site:

1. Find 2 or 3 place were this could be done, after that submit it as poll by email

2. What they want to have during that show: Activities, gathering with other member, supporting vendors, GM product....

3. What date !?

It not to late for 2008, event if will be 20 present, it a start, after that it will grow...

It can be done in a park somewere or at GM plant, but I recommend a place that have a tourist area, something to do after or before the show, Niagara sound a nice place,

With our upcoming events here in Modesto, along with Bud's (1HOTHHR) events, I think our club is on it's way to such an event.

I'm in contact with other retro-styled car clubs in California for a 2008 Summer Of Fun event next summer. Our first meeting to discuss if this is feasible/logistically possible, is this Saturday (August 11).

I've put a thread in the Supporting Vendors forum about our G2G this September, and asking for any vendors who wish to show up and set up a table (this is free to them for small tables). I know people have been reading it, but no replies yet.

Start putting out Polls for :
1: How many would try to come
2: Year
3: Month
4: Dates
Then go from there!
Another thing to remember, If a Region, or State is having an event near that time(even within a 4 mth time frame), people may have to make a choice as to which one to go to.
