INTERnational Event

We just went thru this same discussion at ssrfanatic.com.

What was decided there was to hold the event in Springfiled MO (Branson was considered - but too much traffic will cause 'runs' to be hard to manage) due to the central location. Mid June was selected as some of those central states can be rather warm in August...

SO, with the Hot Rod Power Tour finishing up near Springfield - and several SSR owners participation in the HRPT - this Gathering would just be an extension of that event!

I had the idea that maybe when we all get our CD of pics together we should each take them back to our dealers and show them all the fun we are having with our cars. Maybe use it as a highlight to ask for those door prizes for our runs? Pat mentioned trying to build up to a Chevy spokesperson one of these days and never know this might be a way to get to the top people.

Like I said, just an idea.

Well Thats what I am talking about another Great Idea. I will do this with my Chevrolet Dealership when this is all put together. Great Idea Bonnie.

Scaleguy, sorry to ask this, but I noticed you didn't provide a name for the resort, maybe it's in a further post, but are you talking about the Wilderness Resort?

To all
I have told you all before that we are the MOST ENTERTAINING REGION. Just read all of the post on this topic. It will show you that we are IT. I have said before that every one wants IT but they can not have IT. You need people to want to do what we DO BEST. If the other regions have what we do then no one would say that its to far.

Well guess what. From what I have read and looking where everyone is from that tells me that we are doing IT again. We are planning something that everyone wants to go to. We have always discussed no matter what or where that it has to be an area that ALL could have a great time young, old, teenagers, youngsters and small children. And from reading all the posts from all over the U.S. it seems that they have what we have all been discussing.

Like I said before we are IT! We will always be IT! and we are IT for once reason we always plan an event or run and always invite everyone no matter where they live. If you dont belive me just check out all the posts that have been posted on this topic. I think Mike has a great idea about having a grand event for everyone in the Central location "Oklahoma City" the one problem I see with this is that someone has to take the time to plan it and since at this time no one is working on it everyone is looking at "the Dells" which tells me one thing...we are doing something right! I dont care if it is a National or Regional event as we can all meet new people from all over who want to come. When and if they do we will welcome all with hugs and kisses to have fun and have a good time! We do not need any bickering on distance or location. What we need to do is meet eachother and have a good time. I hope you all understand what I am trying to say.

I am looking forward to meeting someone who can help me put my pipes on the right way!! Bonnie can't always get the trophies!
