Who runs that company, Malcom Bricklin? First he was the sole US importer for Subaru when they only built little tiny cars. About the time they came out with a "real" car with the flat four and all wheel drive, Malcom bails out thinking there was no future in it. Can you imagine being the sole US importer today? Then he builds the Bricklin sports car in the 1970's and goes broke. Then he decides to import Fiats after Fiat left the US market (great idea, Malcom). Then he was the sole US importer for Yugo (all of those went through him). Lately he worked a deal to be the first US distributor for a Chinese-built car. After sinking a few million in this venture, the Chinese pulled out. Like you say, you can't make this stuff up, folks!
