It's been well over a month since it was suggested by more than one person, replace the VVT valves, don't expect that cleaning them will do any good. Hopefully when those new valves show up, all this will go away.

I checked all the wiring and stuff with the wheels off as mentioned awhile back... but at such a super slow roll there is no reason the ABS should be kicking in like it does. I locked up the brakes a couple times and the ABS never did crap at 50mph? Im thinking the VVT are the culprit so Im going to check for any codes now, and wait to do a lobotomy when I install the new VVT for a fresh start at that point. The LCA seems to be free of the rubber grommet so wondering if that may cause an issue if any play In that or the ball joint but they seem tight but the sleeve in the rubber grommet floats through when pried on and I know 1 outter tie rod RT side is worn. Debating replacing the whole LCA and do the tie rods as well.... Looking for the best LCA to replace them with since you cant get MOOG completely on them unless you "build" your own.
OK my ACDelco VVT's came in early ( today ) so tomorrow I am going to swap them in. Should I go get a read on any ABS codes? My reader doesn't show any ABS and today none of the ABS/TCS.Service lighrs bells n whistles came on???? I was going to disconnect the battery, install the new VVT's and see what she does, just thought maybe I should get a read if any codes before they are erased if it matters ?
OBD2 has been a government mandate since 1996, if it doesn't work on a car something is wrong with the car, the power fuse for instance (on an HHR it is the cig lighter fuse).
Don't erase codes unless you are willing to live with the consequences. All but the most serious emissions related codes clear themselves after the problem is fixed.

Some code readers are not configured to work with vehicles after a certain year, I had one that worked up till 2000 or so , the it would not communicate on vehicles after that, like Sweetie’s 03 or my 07
