Yeah, snow is just snow but when you get to have a nice sheet of ice under the snow...yippeeeeeee!!! and to think I lived in central California for 5 years...I think that a trip to Florida to put on a set of running boards might not be a bad idea...If we do get heavy snow I'll just park the "Minister" and drive one of the other cars...my work beater Corsica is a great snow car...Hey they get hurricanes in Florida, maybe a few days there and then run...hurricanes scare me...hahaha

And I live so far inland that most hurricanes are just babies by the time they get to me.

<<<-- looking forward to the sunny weather this weekend so I can get those running boards on.

Phew...I have dealt with tornados, eathquakes, sandstorms, hail and floods, but hurricanes just seem to have the ability to get too big...oh well I guess that I will just go get the shovels ready and wait to see how this storm shakes out...

Oh joy! Snow!! Beautiful, glorious, fresh, awesome snow!! Too bad I live in New Jersey where we get all of the crappy rejected snow from PA and NY. Drving in snow is fine in the HHR, easy in the Suburban, and well, the Camaro, well...

...It super sucks. I assume.

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!!!!

As long as the fridge is stocked and the generator has gas, let it snow. Mother nature can put it there and she can take it away. I'm not getting out in it unless it is an emergency. The HHR will be snug as a bug in a rug in the garage and I will be the same in the house. Bring it on!!!!

Well, I feel for all you midwesterners. I hear they had 18" in Colorado Springs and my dad is bracing for a big storm in St Louis. Remember the 22" in 1982 that shut down the whole area for several days? It started as rain then sleet also. You just don't get that much snow at one time in St Louis very often.

To all you Floridians, never say never. It was snowing earlier today in Dallas so we may get some in the panhandle tonight. It's supposed to get down to the low 30's. I've seen it twice in the 15 years I've been here. You never know!

We had almost 3 feet of snow several years back. In fact, I took some pictures and put them on a website. Feel free to check it out HERE.
