Mine has done fine in the snow and I haven't even swapped out the firehawks for winter tires. I've been happy with it. Though I can't wait to get back to the lower 48, 6 months of winter is dragging on me.

So how cold is it there today?
I worked at Goose Lake summer of 71 as a lifeguard.
Yes I said in the summer.

Well, it's 3:35 am here in St. Louis. I'm looking out the front window and our HHR's are covered with at least 3 inches of ICE!! Not snow, ice! The snow hasn't started yet but we've had sleet for since early yesterday. I'd hate to imagine if this had been snow. I think I remember a calculation, 1" rain = 10" snow!!

I'll take some pics later this morning and post them. Assuming we've got power! I can see my neighbor's house and two BIG limbs have broken off their tree and are now blocking their driveway. I guess they won't be making it to work.

Yes I do! They do protect the rear panels. The ice builds up on the insulation in the door jams.

I really feel sorry for those of you that have to shovel snow, wear hats gloves big heavy jackets, thick boots thick socks, No wait I dont

It is cool here been around 60's during the day here, cold at night in the hign 30's low 40's No shoveling snow, can still walk around with no jacket or just a light one. If I want snow I can hope in my car make a little drive up north and in about 1.5 hours be in the snow and come back home in the same day and jump in the hot tub.

What a great place this is to live in Arizona

Well I took a snow day hte wind is blowing the multiple inches of snow we have already and it is still snowing steadily, my issue is the ice underneath oh and my wife would lose her mind if I ventured out right now so I will just go in tomorrow...I hope eveyone else stays warm and safe...GDZ, just how close is the neighboor with the tree and the downed limbs, you think "ducking" might become an issue, just a word of advice I am thinking that a tree limb on the roof of your HHR would not be a good mod...Another cup of coffee and I am going out to check the conditions and maybe shovel the first layer and put down some salt...later...
