Yes it is interesting about the styrofoam tray since the jack and lug wrench are the correct ones.

Good idea. I thought about that. I measured the diameter of the bolt circle and it appears to be 110mm, but it is hard to get an exact measurement across the diameter with an odd number of bolt holes. Since there are wheels in 108, 112 and 115 as a possibility, I will have to test fit it on the studs to make sure.

But the best option is just to get the correct 15" spare wheel and tire so everything fits properly in the spare tire well...

The 15" spare tires that came with the SS will not fit on the front of the car. (it's in the owners manual if you want the details ). That may be the reason the previous owner had a 16" spare in there.

I wonder if the tray came with the models that had Slime pumps instead of spares?

You got it Don, the Styrofoam tray is/was part of the "Deluxe"(sarcasm intended)Can 'O Gloop and tire pump setup.
