Two questions - Windows & Turn signals

Sounds like you`re leaving, didn`t want to run you off.!!!
The flash thing is cool, but by the time I flash you once, I`m gone. Just don`t want to startle you too much, see ya..
The window thing is more complex, I would`ve prefered the switches in the NORMAL location. Reaching down behind the shifter is just un-natural. Add that to the tendency to operate the wrong window, I get pretty frustrated already. Certainly couldn`t imagine letting more windows down in a rain storm or some such...
The other aspect you have to factor in is that this veh. has a lot of crazy computerized overlapping gizmos, just waiting for you to do the wrong thing, KABOOM, hello Mr. dealer...

Nope, not going anywhere, just expressing true appreciation for the contributions that I see everyone make here.
I forgot about the windows working with the key off. It seems like all windows stop working with the key off when any one door is opened, although the radio will continue. Ya, the engineers seemed to have created the Gordian Knot of electronics in the new cars.

It is stated in the manual that once the key is turned off, features (radio, windows, etc), continue to work for 10-minutes - or until the driver's door is opened. After that, they shut off to prevent battery drain.
Hope it helps,

On checking over the weekend I found that in my car the windows stop working, but the radio does remain on for the 10 minutes if any of the passenger doors open. Also the interior lights come on. If the drivers door opens then everything goes off, and the interior lights come on.
