Well my wife had a deer jump out in front of our '08LS last night doing about 35mph on a small road. Creamed the right headlight and bent the mounting frame, crushed the front of the fender, bent the hood, cracked the front grill, and crunched the bumper. Ought to be a nice repair bill for State Farm minus our $500. Stupid deer got up and ran away.

The last time I hit a deer my insurance co. Did not charge the deductible because a deer jumping out in front of you was considered an act of god. That was 30 years age though.

When the temp got up to 26F I hosed the salt off with hot water. Then went to the dump.

I sure do wish you Canadians would give up on the invasion attempts! These Alberta Clippers on top of the Polar Vortex are really getting to me, but not so much that I'll surrender (yet). There oughtta be a fence for that.

Seriously thought about giving the '06 a bath since we hit 40 degrees, but that was accompanied by 35-40mph wind gusts, brrrr.

It shall remain a self propelled, salt encrusted, dirt ball, for a bit longer.

Today I installed rear "sense-trac" shocks and a TTR rear sway bar. As a note for those who don't have access to a lift, or have ramps, or two floor jacks, the TTR bar can be installed with the car flat on the ground, using one floor jack. You use the jack to lift the bar in the center, and hold it in the channel of the rear axle, while you swing up one side, get the bolts started, the other side practically falls in place, tighten, then finish tightening with a torque wrench. Next weekend, front shocks, and trailer hitch.
