Well I installed the second headlight bulb in 3 days. This one, the passenger side, went much smoother. It took me about 35-40 minutes. It is still a hateful job. I briefly considered trading for another ride when the second bulb went out.

I park so that I can see my car from my desk at work...got back to my desk from lunch (cafeteria on the other side of the building) and I see one of our maintenance guys leaning on car. I just about lost my mind! Gave the remote a couple of quick clicks to chirp the horn and watched him jump about 5'. Let it ride for a couple of minutes then walked out to "get something from the car". Shot him the stink eye and he got my point...who the hell leans on a random car in the parking lot?!?!?!?!

And you should check for any scratches and ripples left behind by "Mr. Leaner", then present the putz with a bill.

Afraid after the day at work I had, that guy would have gotten popped in the jaw before he knew what hit him.

What is going on? At the risk of sounding like my father people today just don't seem to have any respect for other people property. I never let my kids or any one else rub there hand across cars in parking lots let alone lean or sit on them ever.

Check your fuses and connections, something is probably just loose, but if the hatch latched on you. Here's the thread on the how to access the emergency manual hatch release.
