Well, Stiglitz has made it to 91,550+ miles, and as such, I figured it was time for some much needed tuning up. He got all new Spark plugs, new boot grease, and anti-seize. Also got a new air filter for the engine and cabin. And a full oil change.

washed her today, the winds blow so much dust around here, then the morning mist makes it stick, but she is now clean and shiny

Stayed home today to take care of my wife, she was up all night being "unwell", and I got three recall letters too...yay!

Tomorrow is oil change day for two of 'em, out with the old Mobil 1 and in with the new.

misbelievers and telephone screamers, all with the perchant to be famous and all those sites do is make them childish and weird, they bought a car, granted but there have been many in the past with recalls and such, all this media circus with just confuse the masses and cause or rides to fall off the earth when we decide or need to sell them, unless proving the recall repair was preformed on the car!!

As for today, just a wash and a rinse then out for the afternoon drive and a nice Porterhouse steak on the Bar-B-Que with a few brown bottle beverages for dinner later on this evening!!!

Are there other recalls besides the one for the ignition switch? My HHR is a 2009 but I got the ignition switch changed within a week of my original purchase. I read about it here and asked the dealer and they just went ahead and changed it out. The only problem I have had with mine is a bad thermostat(stuck open and fixed under warranty) since I got it a couple of years ago. I searched for recalls and found 17 pages of TSB's/recalls but could not identify specific RECALLS. Admittedly I did not read the 17 pages verbatum but skimmed and as I said did not identify any specific RECALLS relating to an '09 HHR, 2.2 LS. I am guessing one(1) of your three(3) recall letters was the ignition switch. Could you share what the other two(2) are?
Thanks,
Allen
