was with my wife and daughter near stuttgart great car show called r e t r o classic ................there was porsche and mercedes and also us cars ........chevys and cadillacs .....................and we drife a short way on the german autobahn ......

 

How many days to do all of that Mike at my age it would take a week.??

 

Had a buzz after start up. It turned out to be a cracked exhaust manifold. Darn had to in stall the header. It turned out to be easy to R&R than I thought.

 

Had a burst of energy yesterday Jay, today my "wax on, wax off" muscles are aching.

 

nothing today, just a rest and relax day, freezing rain this morning, light drizzle now. Yeah tomorrow is supposed to be the arrival of spring, I always thought it was March 21st, man they have even changed that!!!

 

Ordered a few more parts and pieces to finish off a some things I've wanted to do to the wagon over the past year. Getting it ready for Import Alliance here in Atlanta next weekend!

 

Herbie got a new battery today, the old one was only showing 12.4 volts and was six years old. Alternator was good, output was over 14 volts. Next item to change is the coolant and t-stat, if the weather is warm enough tomorrow.

 

WSOC says 66 and sunny tomorrow, sounds like perfect weather to tinker with Herbie.

 

again with the little drizzle of rain and snow, maybe it'll warm up soon! I want to get the summer rims on and clean the crud and salt off the whole HHR and I forgot what it's like to wax it, that was soooooooo long ago!!

 

Stopped to fill up and the car was just washed and detailed so I thought I'd snap a quick pic!



She's at the muffler shop inspecting for damage caused by a rock I hit last weekend. The rock somehow lodged itself in my exhaust system and completely tweaked everything from about mid-car back. While she's there I'm having a new tip installed too to freshen things up.
