What Did You Do To Your HHR Today?
Yet another 300 mile round trip to work, yay!
But I got a memo about my accrued overtime, so I'm taking two weeks of vacation starting on Friday.
The grill is gonna get a workout, and you'll see some changes here too because I'll have the time to push some projects to completion.

Backed the HHR out of my garage drove about 100 feet power steering light came on hard to steer, turned the engine off and started ran fine awhile it came on again, the fuse is ok maybe the power steering motor may need to be replaced.???
Installed a new canister vent valve (the near the gas tank one). Easy & cheap on a 2011, $18 part no $45 pigtail needed, because 2010-2011 has the "new" harness already.
I forgot to blow through the new one to compare, but the old one was either normally open or stuck open. Maybe I can find a 9 volt battery laying around to test it.
Updates in this space _________. Tested it; normally open, lots of dirt inside.

Cranked up the silver one and headed to The Gathering Of The Streamliners at the NC Transportation Museum in Spencer. 26 Streamlined Steam & Diesel locomotives gathered together, from Norfolk & Western "J" #611 to the only intact and running Alco PA-1 in the U.S Nickel Plate Road #190.

I'll be days going through the memory cards I filled with photos, as my wife pointed out, I'm a odd site when I've got "my train geek thing going on".
