What Did You Do To Your HHR Today?
firemangeorge, they were off of an HHR, I got them out of the vehicle. The local Pick and save takes the wheels from the vehicle and put them in the trunk or back. I was back over there earlier this week and there was an 07 and a 10 sitting side by side and the diameter of the ring on the rear brake drum is larger on the 10 then the 07.
sleeper the center portion of the wheel opening is too small The diameter of the opening is larger on aster wheels. The bolt pattern is the same but the wheel will not fit flat on the drum.. If I had access to a machine shop with a big enough lathe it could probably be corrected. To have it done would probably cost more than I can get another set of wheels for.
IIRC HHR hub snout is like 64 mm, or close to that.
I get it about having a big lathe, & cost prohibitive. Would like to see a pic of these rims.

Well my battery was dead this morning (50*F). Had a car to jump from and went to the Interstate distributor I bought it from a year ago. I checked charging voltage before I went and it started at 14.4 and dropped to 13.75 volts, so I knew the charging system was working. Shutting the car off the battery showed 12.3 available voltage.
At the place it still showed 12.3 volts. The tech said drive it for awhile and see if the voltage comes up.
1 1/2 hours later, most of the time doing highway speed, it still read 12.3 volts with the car shut off.
He couldn't load test the battery because it didn't get to 12.6, but he did agree there was a possible problem. Due to company protocol, he couldn't just warranty my battery. He gave me a loner battery for the weekend and told me he would have to charge my battery in the shop and load test it.
I did call Interstate after this to say I always believed in their products but was disappointed in one of their batteries failing in my opinion.
Time will tell now.

Sadly, I consigned Quicksilver, my silver 2011 to the boneyard. HHR's are no match for a GMC Yukon pulling a camper at 55mph.
On the bright side, as of 6pm tonight I am now the owner of a 2011 HHR in what appears to be Crystal Claret although the dealer was advertising it as Victory Red.

I haven't had a chance to check the codes yet. I bought it 70 miles from home and it was nearly 10 when we got home. I'll check it in the daylight tomorrow.
Edit: The paint code on the glove box sticker is GBE.
