brake upgrade

did the front brake upgrade today to 11.65 rotors, the rims are 16" and the rotors fit fine, the calipers have a good amount of distance between them and the inside of the rim.

Today is a job of shoveling out both cars from over 14" of snow------that is after I shovel the path from the back door. I am too old for this stuff.

You in Canada Ron? We deal with this every year , several times .
Now all you folks drive carefully or as the Governor says, stay off the roads till they can be cleared.
Sage advice!

Today we went to pickup a new TV for Sweetie’s Mom, It’s always fun teaching an 85 year new technology, and how to find the channels she likes.
I am gonna try to get the new grille unboxed and installed, tomorrow and maybe the taillights.

Well I got me shoveled out yesterday I'll get the other one out later today after it warms up some. This is the most we have had in December since 1969 on Christmas day. I remember that one as I drove from Portsmouth Va to Roanoke a trip that normally took 5 hours took 12. It was only supposed to be only 6 inches well I was plowing snow with the front bumper of my 69 Nova when I pulled into my parents driveway.

stopped at our family junk yard today and grabbed the fresh air pipe from one of the wrecked units and a nice cargo mat also. Time to start digging into a few of these units and see if any are worth rebuilding or putting the time into with rebuilding/repairing engines or transmissions. Couple have decent interiors and low mileage.

Applied Rain-X to windshield and all windows - heavy rain coming the next couple days. Drove on the highways last weekend during a little rain and visibility was horrible. Blades are less than a year old. Anyone try wiping their blades with Rain-X as well?

Great deal! There’s a how to around here somewhere, and a paper pattern or template was being passed around, but that probably has succumbed to age and such.
