I’m back to driving the BlackSwan, took the mil her supper tonight and tomorrow, I’m driving Sweetie to her COVID vaccination appointment.
Steve the remodel is looking great ! Very nice job.
I had Pfizer shot #1 and #2. A sore arm for about 2 days but not bad, Hope all goes smooth for your wife .
My 90 y/o MIL had Moderna #1 and #2 and did get a little sick for a couple day, and tired ! We all react different so hope your wife is the easy one :)
Today, it’s raining , I will be driving to a physiotherapist appointment at 9 am , then a cruise to a park in Wainfleet , Ontario for a walk. We might stop for a coffee, then home.
I love the T5 LED tubes I have put up in my shop. 48" long, & natural white lighting. And the lighting is amazing, & it extremely easy on electric use.
Key lock was wore out? 🙄 They must think people are idiots. Thank you for reminding me that I need to return a call from the dealership regarding my key not working in the door.
That bimbo behind the counter is nuts. She said someone must have changed out my original lock in the door...because the key should work. Excuse me? They put a new ignition in...that's why they gave me two new keys...they no longer work for the door. 🙄
Today the fuel line is being replaced by a mobile mechanic. I didn't like the continual smell of leaking fuel. These guys were recommended to someone in a local group I belong to on FB....not an HHR group. I shot them a message on how much it would cost to replace the fuel line. Total price was quoted at $110.00. I hate paying for labor but that seemed beyond reasonable. The guy said it should take an hour to replace.
While he was installing the new fuel line I decided to mow the grass...the deck belt on my John Deere riding mower snapped beforeI had mowed 2 minutes. So I decided I would put these new lights in my garage so I could see better in there...the old socket broke.
These are days I question why I ever got out of bed.
It took the guy nearly 3 hours to complete the job. The price was still the same...$110.00. So even with my own set backs on my projects...I am happy the fuel line is replaced!
And the rest of the day didn't get any better!
If you aren't sure what you are looking at...that's a big ole crack in the windshield. And no... I don't have glass coverage with my auto insurance.
This is the EVAP canister end of the vapour line , you simply squeeze the flat area and the rounded area gently together with pliers and remove from the plastic tube it’s attached to

Well if you look at my pic closely you will see it's cut off and the green plastic on the inside is broken. Was this part of the fuel line? I'm sorry I know nothing about this kind of stuff.

That’s the engine end, it has a white retaining clip and is 8 mm , the connector Ronnie has is the under car EVAP end with the green retainer clip and is 10 mm
it is most likely just the discarded part from the $110.00 fuel line repairs Ronnie just had done, by the mobile mechanic.
We just go back from our cruise to pickup supper and make sure Sweetie’s mom , eats and has some company at dinner time.
we had a temperature drop from 60 degrees on Saturday to 40 degrees today, the TPMS alarm showed low tire pressure as a result, I run the 18’s at 32 psi and the air pressure dropped to 28 psi, my computer thinks the tires should be at 35 psi which is what I run in my 17” winter tires.
