Today , I went to have a coffee with the_shmoo, we had a good talk about all things HHR, then I drove home to accept a delivery of flowers, they’re for my mother in law, very nice arrangement.
I then sent a couple of hours washing and detailing the BlackSwan!
My neighbour brought me an electric pressure washer , it came with a car soap cannon, so I had to try it out, works very good! A microfibre cloth drying, then a wipe with detailer and then spray wax ! It’s very spiffy and shiny now! So you know it will rain tomorrow!
Sweetie is at the hospital, the folks from palliative care will be speaking with her this afternoon, to discuss next steps with her Mom. She is still asleep or comatose, tough decisions to make. Sweetie is prepared for this , she has discussed it with her sister and family.
All we can do is wait.

She’s resting and being cared for at the hospital, we won’t ever be prepared just more adjusted to the end. Thanks for you thoughts and prayers.

Thanks Rich, I’ll pass your thoughts along to the family.

Today I took Sweetie in the BlackSwan off to get her annual flu shot, then to the bakery to get bread and egg buns. The ride was very smooth comfortable and quiet. No more leaks, either!

Then Sweetie took the BlackSwan off to the hospital to check on her mom, and sit with her, Sweetie talks to her mom, even though there’s no response, she tells mom how the grand kids and great grandchildren are doing. Hopefully, Mom at least hears and understands, and is comforted by her voice.
the waiting is the hardest part!

Steve your mother in law may not be awake but she can still hear everything said. So talking to her is a good thing as it should make her feel safe :)

On the HHR front it was the Upstream O2 Sensor shot. My mechanic said it was a pain to get to and had to heat it up to break it free :O Better him then me lol
Thanks for the advice on O2 sensors
I assume the bad O2 sensor may have reduce MPG that I saw when I drove it 1 day ?
My son and DIL are car shopping so I should have my HHR back soon :)
