Mrs & I went downtown, driving home the back way today, Mrs was driving the Panel, on a narrow 2 lane, a truck was heading our way. When a smaller car hidden behind the truck suddenly pulls right out to pass him into our lane.

And the car was not backing down, Mrs hit the brakes & got over near the edge of the almost shoulder-less road, I thought we were gonna hit head on. Somehow we squeezed thru. I gotta think GOD spared us today..

Not sure if truck & car were in some road rage deal or what, but we just cruised home, proud of how well the Mrs handled the situation.. That was a trip.

I thought about it. Then I thought about how many times in the 5 1/2 years I had my first HHR I had to change headlights bulbs (once) and I decided the cost/benefit ratio didn't make it worth it.

I kinda feel the same way. Only changed one headlight since buying it in 2006. And only failed because of a deer's rear hoof clipped it. Became a fish bowl. Did the directional at the same time. (actually those are the only 2 bulbs I've replaced)

But with as much of a PIA it is (for a basic task), it might be worth it.

Sleeper,
That's the kind of excitement I can do without.

Sleeper, glad she’s a good defensive driver! And that you two and your panel are okie dokie!

agreed, the headlights don’t warrant the investment in time and materials to install the little doors, 2 push pins and a screw per side, isn’t that bad! And only once in a blue moon , to change the bulb.

Today a quiet cruise to a doctor appointment, then I stopped by my GM dealership to investigate a new set of tires for the terrain, wow they were $200 cheaper then a local tire shop. So I ordered a set , they’ll be here on Monday next week.

I guess Bryan Nesbitt realized they didn’t have to be there! Left them off the HHR!

It’s 47 F out, so I washed the BlackSwan, including the Weather Tech floor liners, used my foam cannon, and rinsed with pressure washer!

On the home front my son got his first statement from the Hospital for his 3 week vacation there :O 101,000.00 :O Has a Doctor visit every 2 weeks for the next couple months , WOW you can not afford to get sick :O Glad he has Insurance, $8,500.00 deductible :O But his work is kicking in $5500.00 towards it :)
Since he met his deductible I told him if anything else is wrong make a appointment lol
He is on week 2 at work and doing OK, Not 100% better but getting there !
Weather getting better here so is a few weeks i will order my new speakers !
And clean or change the drivers door switch on my son's 2LT
As I have mentioned before my Cooper Snow with NO studs seem to be doing very well in the Maine snow :)
