Another oil change, BUT, if this is what helps in keeping 'SISU" alive and running, then this is what I'll do.

Drove it into town, about 30 miles each way, and stopped at the Flagstop car wash and ran it through. I’m still trying to decide if it’s a good idea.

This is the “before” picture:

Today off to have blood work done for diabetes and cancer check up. Then off for breakfast and then Sweetie needed X-rays taken , back home, it’s 38 F out there so I washed the BlackSwan, my 50 foot hose sprung a leak , while I was fixing that , Sweetie left for a visit with her friends. I carried on and double checked the Christmas lights, had to replace several leds on each of the 9 strings . Hopefully they won’t mysteriously burn out over the next 10 months!

Today it’s 36 F outside, forecast says it’s going down to 12 F later on , brr! We are at Sweetie’s Tai Chi lesson now, then maybe a drive and a coffee. We will see.

This morning it’s 14 F outside and about 5 inches of snow fell overnight , it’s not drifting just falling straight down, another 4 or 5 inches are expected today, so it’s going to be a snow day for me, Sweetie has a dental appointment later today at noon, should be able to get her there.

Today it’s just 8 F outside, so I started the BlackSwan and turned on the fan and turned up the heat and put the defrost on, then I shoveled the driveway and cleared the snow off the HHR and scraped the ice off the windows and windshield, ready for trip to St. Catherines to have lunch with my niece.

7 weeks since I lost my HHR, I was afraid once my kid drove it I'd lose it and looks like I may never get it back. Might be time to find a replacement. So I guess I am looking for a nice HHR LT without a sunroof and reasonable miles preferably in southern Minnesota (??) sadly I got my 06 LT set up just right and the thought of starting over again is sad...I wish they made a awd HHR!

Sad when your kid takes advantage of you. It’s your HHR tell him you want it back , now!

a little more snow over night, I’ll clear the driveway and then go to the market for groceries.
