Yet right under the wiper. These roads are never safe always rocks and stuff flying at me. Love me some Dr. Colorchip ! Greybeard that sounds menacing, can't say I miss midwest rain storms, keep your head down. Jay, have them do it up nice with a little extra clear coat glad your ok. Mikie it might have been a good day to keep it in the garage, but then I wouldn't have got Dr. schizophrenia (he tells me he will start the meds soon) to finally say yes to the fancy new roof. I thought the guy at Safelite was a little high said 325 with the blue tint at the top, you know I have to add the blue!!!

I would be disheartened if you didn't add the blue tint band Sam, even though its an added expense when you don't need it....weren't you just hoping that something would eventually take that windshield out so you could go blue?

No I was trying to prolong it, my(wifey's) 740 still has original, it's an 00. don't know why every body throws at me, that was the 4th that needed repair in 28000 miles. The one that happened up in the Great White North doesn't count that's a war zone in the winter.

Yeah, I agree with sleeper, get another quote as I've always found Safelite to be high on their prices.

You do realize I'm short. I think it might just come in handy the four days the sun comes out here, Today was one, I had forgot how to wash a car in the sun.

Try washing them in the sun when its 100+ degrees, one must work quickly, carefully, and efficiently lest your vehicle will become one giant water spot.

OrangeWhip stopped by after his workday today and ran all new speaker wiring into the doors, up the pillars for the new tweeters, and to the back end for hooking up the amps. He ran the 3 sets of RCA's I had on hand.

I ran my rear view camera wiring up through the rear hatch were the oem wiring runs and along one side of the roof to the front and down the pillar and stuffed all that extra length of wiring into the side of the dash on the passenger side as the side of the dash pops off and was a perfect spot to hide the cameras wires and some small metal box it has.

I will be putting my carpet back in and start getting some of the interior back in place, then OrangeWhip will be back on Sunday to install the speakers in the doors and do all the wiring hookups.

Should have it hooked up and working Sunday.

The amps will be put on a Temporary amp rack and the 12" sub will be in a sub box as a Temorary setup then we will get to work on the actual permanent Custom setup. This way I am up and running while we figure out some of the Custom parts of the install.

Thanks for coming out tonight Brandon.

And now at 1:18 am.

I have my Carpet back IN !!!

Going back outside to put some rear panels back in.

Sometimes the best work is done in the "wee small hours", many a night the lights have burned in the garage while only the crickets keep me company. Keep us posted on your progress there A&P, but don't forget to get some sleep eventually.
