Back to OT...Took the Paddy-Wagon out this morning and had a nice drive, cooped up too long over the very stormy weekend, cabin...errr....condo fever was setting in. All happy now!

Now Paddy and his garage mates have all been de-pollened with the 'Cali duster, and I have a ton of e-mails to catch up on since my Yahoo account crashed over the weekend.

 

For the license lights, I used 194 as the reference for the LED size. 194 & 168 will fit in the same socket. With regular bulbs, 168 is supposed to be brighter, I think.

 

I had 194 LED's for my plate. Need to get a new set.

 

Made it GLOW.

 

So it looks like a space ship now Kev?

Yesterday

Washed the pollen off.

Spent a Grueling 10 minutes installing my 3rd brake light graphic (5 minutes was walking to the garage, rooting about for a 7mm socket and walking back out to the HHR).

Went out to take a picture once it was a little darker..... Started the car.... decided I did not need it running... shut off the motor... turned the key to the on position... everything went dead..... no power... none..... key was stuck in the ignition.

Popped the little plate off the bottom of the steering column and released the key.

So how was YOUR evening?

I guess it is now haunting it's self.

 

Yesterday - Finally felt good enough to get outside and wash the wagon. She needed a good wash and dry.

Today - Finally rolled my windows down after getting my tint done on Friday only to find that they did a crappy job. It looks great when the window is up but when the window is done, they left about a 2 inch gap on the side of the windows.

Did a bit of unintentional "distracted driving" this morning, had my mind on a meeting in Charlotte more than I had my mind on the speed at which the Spousemobile was eating up the miles on I-85 South.

Officer Bryce of the Highway Patrol was nice enough to bring me back to full awareness by turning on all the pretty blue lights on his Charger. I'm now a bit chagrined and in possession of a written warning for "83mph in a 65mph speed zone".

Could have been an expensive ticket, but I got lucky, and no I didn't tell him I'm a lawyer....something like that has no bearing on the situation at all.
