I went to the automotive supply store and picked up a quart of 75u Techno Gray metallic (aka 411p). Hope to get my newly-aquired running boards painted this weekend (thanks to forum-member Ron Mercer) and installed soon after.

You'll love having running boards Putter, they'll keep your rear fenders chip free and cleaner too.

I didn't even think of that! I was thinking about buying Putters skirts from him to keep on hand in case I decide to eliminate the running boards, but my five year old uses them to get in and out so I may have to keep them on for her.

As for today, at work right now, but planning on a DEEP cleaning of The Surfer when I get home.

HHR's without the boards are know to have the rear fenders roadblasted with debris. Some even look sandblasted.

Dropped

Installed a set of Cobalt SS springs in the rear and an Eiback rear sway bar last night. Kim was skeptical until she drove the 40 miles home on a curvacious road. She absolutely loves it. The springs dropped the rear more than I thought they would, a good 2 inches, now Jezzie sits level, looks awesome and, according to Kim, no longer makes you grab the arm rest when turning. She says it's the best mod yet.

Today I gave mine a bath. Man were there a lot of bugs on the front, but now the HHR is nice and clean.
