As a Former Body & Fender Man / Auto Painter for 12 years, knows all too well the smells , sticky mess and itch of fiberglassing. I have full helmet/face self supplied air units I use.

Baby Powder face, neck, arms, chest , back even a blast down the pants to fill your skins pors up, a full body suit while grinding and sanding.

And a COLD shower afterwards, helps close up your pours so the dust that did get past and onto your skin washes off.

Hot or a warm shower actually opens up your pors and allows the fiberglass dust to enter and you itch like mad for days. NOT good.

Drove mine to a local Patriot Guard http://www.patriotguard.org/Default.aspx event where we honored Moms who have a child in the service and those who lost a child. Very nice event, I was glad to be a part of this!

Looks like it might be time for a wash for the bread van again. Why it seems like only yesterday I washed....wait, it was yesterday.

My wife always tells me I'm going to wash the paint off my car because I wash it so much...

...as for today, just got done sanding and retinting my rear side markers because when I did them originally, it was a windy day during pollen season and they got some trash in the paint. Looks much better now. I also changed my license plate bulbs to LEDs, put LEDs in my interior maps, and replaced my license plate hardware with new stainless because te other "stainless" security screws had started to rust. Getting ready to order the rest of the interior LEDs to finish it off, along with some decals.

The HHR's stayed parked while I had the '37 out playing with the NOS Warner Gear overdrive, its nice to be able to "split" 2nd and high gear, just like having a "sorta kinda" 5-Speed transmission now. The engine is much happier at 50 mph, less likely than ever to start shooting push-rods out through the hood like darts.

Wet-sanded my freshly aquired running boards. Was planning on putting them under the gun, but it clouded up and started to rain. On well, they are ready when the weather clears up.
