Changed out the gas struts on the hatch of the '06 AKA the Spousemobile, the "self closing" function it had developed of late was getting to be a PITA, and nothing hurts like smacking your head on the hatch one too many times....ow!

 

I took my hhr to the dealer today to get the ignition cylinder replaced. I got the letter from GM yesterday. So thats done came home sprayed the grime out of the wheel wells rained on way down.So for the time being all is good.

 

Started the day by washing it. Then I cleaned(polished) my headlight lenses, looks almost new. While the hood was up I cleaned some of the accumulated dust off the obvious surfaces.

 

Looks sweet !! if your had the roof rails I'd suggest mounting cues across the roof !

 

I ended up crashing last night so I ordered my goodies this morning. I'd like to pick up some amber LEDs for the front turn signals. Are there a set I can get that won't cause the rapid flash deal?

 

These are sweet they run white till you turn on the blinker then they are amber.
